Stadium and sports facility operators are facing increasing challenges: high operating costs, outdated infrastructure and the pressure to create new revenue streams. To operate stadiums and sports facilities in an economically sustainable way, modular and adaptable lightweight structures can provide permanent and temporary solutions that enhance your facility and help increase revenue.
Your challenges
Stadiums and sports facilities are expensive to maintain. High operating costs, such as for energy, cleaning, safety and maintenance, require continuous investment. Reducing costs without compromising on quality and safety is a major challenge.
Stadiums and sports facilities often experience seasonal and event-related fluctuations in capacity utilisation. The challenge is to optimise the use of the stadium outside the main season or during breaks in play in order to secure revenue. However, most stadiums are not designed to organise events beyond the originally planned use of football.
Many clubs face economic challenges when it comes to implementing new operator and utilisation concepts. They often have to reckon with high investment costs for new buildings. It is often not even clear whether the new concepts will work at all. Additional capacity is needed for events (congresses, events, etc.) and / or space for the hospitality / catering sector.
In a highly competitive environment, stadium operators have to find creative ways to tap into new sources of revenue. Rising operating costs and requirements for modern infrastructure (e.g. VIP areas) in particular pose challenges here. Fan engagement is important in order to promote spectator loyalty and thus secure recurring revenue.
Stadium operators are often faced with outdated infrastructure, which leads to significant challenges in terms of maintenance and modernisation. The need for renovations has become increasingly urgent in recent years due to changing fan expectations, technological requirements and regulatory demands.
Stadiums and sports facilities are under increasing pressure to introduce sustainable practices. This involves energy-efficient solutions, sustainable waste management and the reduction of the event's ecological footprint. High investment costs for sustainable technology and compliance with regulations are challenging.

Our lightweight halls are made from environmentally friendly materials and are designed to reduce your operating costs in the long term. We contribute to sustainable stadium utilisation by being able to adapt the infrastructure to meet your needs.

The certification according to the European standard DIN EN 1090-1 for the conformity of the RÖDER factory production control refers to load-bearing components and kits for the aluminium and steel structures of the constructions.
