From storage tent to warehouse
In June 2013, RÖDER erected a modular warehouse for Pinnecke & Engelhardt with the following specifications:
- Span: 10 m
- Length: 35 m
- Side height: 3.5 m
- Roof: PVC tarpaulin
- Façade: Originally PVC tarpaulin, replaced by trapezoidal sheet metal in 2023
- Tarpaulin doors, later replaced by sliding steel doors
In 2024, the hall was upgraded to meet the increased requirements. In addition to the switch to trapezoidal sheet metal walls and steel sliding doors, condensation water protection was installed using underlays. This project impressively demonstrates how flexible and durable our halls are, even after years of use. Refurbishment and renovation of a lightweight hall
A lightweight hall can be easily refurbished or renovated using various measures in order to meet today's requirements. Depending on the condition of the hall, the following work can be carried out:
- Replacement of roof and wall materials: old PVC tarpaulins or walls can be replaced with durable materials such as trapezoidal sheeting to improve the durability and protection of the hall.
- Modernising the doors: Old tarpaulin doors can easily be replaced with sturdy steel sliding doors to increase safety and functionality.
- Condensation protection: The installation of underlay sheets can effectively prevent the formation of condensation and ensure the protection of the stored goods.
- Improving insulation: If necessary, additional insulation measures can be integrated to better compensate for temperature fluctuations.
- Extending the warehouse: If more space is required, the modular design means that extensions can be easily added without having to change the entire structure.
Such refurbishment measures ensure that a lightweight warehouse remains functional and adaptable to the company's needs in the long term without the need for a completely new building.
