Your advantages at a glance

Rheinhotel Dreesen – Gastronomy marquees

Fritz Olaf Dreesen, managing director of the Rheinhotel Dreesen in Bonn Bad Godesberg, was looking for an opportunity to make the well-known and popular chestnut garden directly on the banks of the Rhine available in all seasons.
The solution: In the unique chestnut garden of the Rheinhotel there is now a tailor-made pavilion consisting of an ensemble of several BODEGA tents with an elegantly curved roof construction that blends harmoniously and permanently into the open space. A kitchen area and an exclusive lounge area in an attractive pagoda tent complete the hospitable flair and the harmonious concept. The elegant glass-aluminium facades allow a fantastic view of the Rhine. The attractive tent landscape in the chestnut garden with an area of more than 350 m² is certainly one of the most extraordinary places in the region.

The team around Mr. Dreesen can thus organise banquets for up to 200 guests all year round - for weddings, for example. On a smaller scale between 40 and 80 guests he uses the BODEGA also for celebrations of all kinds or company events, such as conferences, congresses and meetings.

Beer Garden Steinhaus1718 – Gastronomy marquees

RÖDER designed a special beer garden solution for the Steinhaus1718 hotel and restaurant. With four 4 x 4 m pagodas with a low high point, an elegant 64 square metre tent ensemble was created. The roof design was adapted completely in black to the CI of the Seinhaus1718 restaurant. The side cladding of poly tarpaulins allows beautiful views in and out and can be opened all around in a short time.

This attractive pagoda ensemble is now also offered by RÖDER as a "stone house tent" in different sizes and colour variations.

Consider legal aspects

Legal aspects, which vary from federal state to federal state, should also be taken into account when expanding the range of restaurants and open spaces. Of course, we cannot provide comprehensive legal advice at this point. Nevertheless, here is a brief list of important basic regulations that you should take into account when making your decision.

  • Noise protection, as a rule until 10 p.m., few exceptions confirm this rule.
  • If public areas for outdoor catering are also affected, special use permits can be obtained from the responsible public order office.
  • Although the curfew has been abolished in almost all federal states, you should always ask the local public order office about special regulations.
  • A liquor licence should always be applied for outdoor catering (exceptions should be obtained from the respective public order office).
  • In this context, it is also essential to apply for an extension of the restaurant licence.

We would also be happy to advise you free of charge and without obligation on an individual space solution in your outdoor area and on the roofing of your outdoor areas.
